100° Stars Challenge

OVERVIEW

Over the hill? Can't stand the Texas Heat? Dallas Stars Tournaments and the Dallas Stars Alumni are challenging all Over 40|50 hockey teams and players from across the nation who are still in their prime to join us on the ice this summer for the 100° Stars Challenge! This senior-level hockey experience hosts both Men's and Women's Over 40|50 Elite (Alumni, Traditional "A" Adult House League) and Rec (Traditional "B", "C", "D/D2" Adult House League) divisions and will take place in Dallas on August 16-18, 2019 at the Children's Health StarCenter in Farmers Branch, home of the Dallas Stars Alumni Center and Texas Hockey History Center! DIVISION | LEVEL | TEAM STRUCTURE

• ADULT OVER 40|50 - Elite (Alumni, Traditional "A" Adult House League) & Rec (Traditional "B", "C", "D/D2" Adult House League)
• MIN ROSTER - 11 (Skaters + Goalies)
• MAX ROSTER - 20 (Skaters + Goalies)
*Players must meet the tournament age requirements. Player ages will be determined by calendar year (ex: A player 39 years old is eligible to play as long as he/she turns 40 by December 31 of the current year)
*Goalies can be up to 5 years below their age bracket
*Up to 2 skaters (35+) are permitted per team. Maximum number of players per team under the age of 40 is two (2) skaters and one (1) goalie. If goalie is 40+, the maximum number of skaters is three (3) 35+   
*Subdivisions may be created in each Division

SCHEDULE STRUCTURE

3 GAME MINIMUM
Each team will play a minimum of three (3) games throughout the tournament event:
• Friday | 1 Game [Afternoon or Evening]
• Saturday | 1 or 2 Games [Morning / Afternoon / Evening]
• Sunday | 1 or 2 Games [Morning / Early Afternoon]
*Championship Game may result in a 2nd game for some teams on Sunday

PRICING

• ALL AGE GROUPS & DIVISIONS | TEAM ENTRY FEE: $1,095
*$350 deposit due at the time of registration with the final amount due by the Registration Deadline.
