OVERVIEW
Dallas Stars Tournaments invites you to join us on the ice in Texas New Year's Eve weekend, December 27-29, 2024, for our NYE Faceoff! This annual tournament promises YOUTH 6U - 14U House/Rec League teams a fun experience over the holiday break that can only be found at Dallas Stars Tournaments events! NOTE: All YOUTH games will be played on a half-ice sheet. YOUTH 6U & 8U games will be played with blue pucks and mini-nets; YOUTH 10U - 14U games will be with regular nets and black pucks. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE! REGISTER YOUR TEAM TODAY!
All Dallas Stars Tournaments are Stay2Play events. A minimum stay is required. Stay2Play hotel accommodations are made available for booking as soon as practicable, prior to registration closure. All visiting teams and/or event participants are required to adhere to the Stay2Play Guidelines and secure hotel accommodations for the duration of the event only at hotel properties and rates listed on the Stay2Play booking portal to participate in the event. No other booking sites, discounts, points awards, special rates or programs, regardless of how obtained, will be accepted.

RINKS | LOCATIONS
• Children's Health StarCenter - Farmers Branch
*Each division may play one or more games at a primary rink, a secondary rink or a combination of rinks.
*Additional rinks may be added or listed rinks removed/changed as needed.
DIVISION | LEVEL | TEAM STRUCTURE
• YOUTH 6U - 14U - HOUSE/REC LEAGUE ROSTERED TEAMS ONLY
*Minimum Roster – 7 (6 skaters + goalie) - Approval required if less than minimum.
*YOUTH Teams must be comprised of players & coaches on their Official USA Hockey House/Rec Fall League Roster. As always, combining of YOUTH teams or requests to combine YOUTH teams is not permitted.
NOTE: Free Agent or Individual Player Registration IS NOT AVAILABLE for YOUTH teams.
*Registration is open to YOUTH House/Rec teams only.
*Subdivisions/Levels may be created based on Divisions/Levels & number of teams registered
*Tournament Divisions/Participating Teams are released on HockeyShift approx. 7-10 days prior to the start of the tournament, if not sooner.
*Tournament Online Roster & Team Information Form Submission will begin soon after registration closes. All participating teams will be notified once Roster submission begins.

GAME FORMAT
• 6U & 8U HOUSE/REC - Games will be half-ice games, 4-on-4 plus goalie; Two (2), 21-minute halves; 1.5 minute shifts
• 10U HOUSE/REC - Games will be half-ice, 4-on-4 plus goalie; Two (2), 25-minute run-time halves
• 12U | 14U HOUSE/REC - Games will be half-ice, 3-on-3 plus goalie; Two (2), 25-minute run-time halves
SCHEDULE STRUCTURE
3 GAME MINIMUM
Each team will play a minimum of three (3) games throughout the tournament event:
• Thursday |ALL teams arrive/available in the DFW area
• Friday | 1 or More Games Possible [Morning / Afternoon / Evening]
• Saturday | 1 or More Games [Morning / Afternoon / Evening]
• Sunday | 1 or More Games [Morning / Afternoon]
*Championship or Consolation Games (if played) may result in a 2nd game for some teams on Sunday.
*Semi-Final Rounds for all divisions are NOT Guaranteed.
*Teams should expect to play starting early morning on the first day of the tournament.
*Final games are expected be complete on the last day of the tournament by 5:00 PM (CT) for all teams. **PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY**
*Game Schedules will be released on HockeyShift (our online Stats & Standings program) approximately 5-7 days prior to the start of the tournament, if not sooner.
PRICING
• ALL AGE GROUPS & DIVISIONS | TEAM ENTRY FEE: $1,295
*$500 deposit due at the time of registration acceptance with the final amount due by the Registration Deadline.
*Acceptance into the tournament is automatic upon completion of registration, unless otherwise noted.
