2025 MLK INVITATIONAL Playoff Format
10U | ARMADILLO
Five (5) teams in total. Each team plays four round robin games. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place teams will be seeded as 1, 2, 3 & 4 for semi-final games where SEED 1 vs. SEED 4 and SEED 2 vs. SEED 3. The winners of the semi-finals advance to the championship game.
10U | LONGHORN
Nine (9) teams in total. Each team plays four round robin games. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place teams will be seeded as 1, 2, 3 & 4 for semi-final games where SEED 1 vs. SEED 4 and SEED 2 vs. SEED 3. The winners of the semi-finals advance to the championship game.
10U | RATTLESNAKE
Five (5) teams in total. Each team plays four round robin games. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place teams will be seeded as 1, 2, 3 & 4 for semi-final games where SEED 1 vs. SEED 4 and SEED 2 vs. SEED 3. The winners of the semi-finals advance to the championship game.
12U | BLUEBONNET
Four (4) teams in total. Each team plays three round robin games. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place teams will be seeded as 1, 2, 3 & 4 for semi-final games where SEED 1 vs. SEED 4 and SEED 2 vs. SEED 3. The winners of the semi-finals advance to the championship game.
12U | CACTUS
Eight (8) teams in total, makeup two subdivisions: DAL and FTW. Each team plays three round robin games in their respective subdivision. The 1st and 2nd place teams in each subdivision crossover for semi-final games where 1st in DAL vs. 2nd in FTW and 1st in FTW vs. 2nd in DAL. The winners of the semi-final games advance to the championship game. Two consolation games will be played where 3rd in FTW vs 3rd in DAL and 4th in FTW vs 4th in DAL.
12U | MESQUITE
Eight (8) teams in total, makeup two subdivisions: DAL and FTW. Each team plays three round robin games in their respective subdivision. The 1st and 2nd place teams in each subdivision crossover for semi-final games where 1st in DAL vs. 2nd in FTW and 1st in FTW vs. 2nd in DAL. The winners of the semi-final games advance to the championship game. Two consolation games will be played where 3rd in FTW vs 3rd in DAL and 4th in FTW vs 4th in DAL.
14U | COWBOY
Five (5) teams in total. Each team plays four round robin games. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th place teams will be seeded as 1, 2, 3 & 4 for semi-final games where SEED 1 vs. SEED 4 and SEED 2 vs. SEED 3. The winners of the semi-finals advance to the championship game.
